Building production-grade AWS infrastructure with automation at its core. I architect systems that scale automatically, deploy without downtime, and monitor themselves — the kind of infrastructure that makes engineering teams sleep better.
Re-architected a production AWS environment entirely through Terraform — multi-AZ VPC with public/private subnets, ALB + Auto Scaling Group in the web tier, EC2 app tier, and EFS shared storage — replacing 100% manual console setup. Remote state managed in S3 with DynamoDB locking for team collaboration.
Built an end-to-end deployment pipeline triggered by every GitHub push — CodePipeline orchestrates CodeBuild to test and package the app, then deploys directly onto the Terraform-provisioned ASG instances. Pipeline failures trigger CloudWatch alarms and SNS notifications, cutting deployment time from manual hours to minutes.
Built a full observability stack on AWS — CloudWatch dashboards tracking CPU, memory, ALB request counts, and ASG instance health. EventBridge rules detect threshold breaches and trigger Lambda to auto-remediate unhealthy instances, with SNS alerts to the ops team. System detects and recovers from failures before users are impacted.
